This was a pretty good throwback read. Shows how far the industry has come since then when 400hp was consodered monsterous. Pretty much all of these cars are surpassed by their counterparts sold off the showroom floor now and considered average.

That Lingenfelter Corvette was damn impressive.

BMW, MB and RX7 all seemed pretty impressive over stock.

The ZR1 seemed to be a small improvement over stock regarding power but a solid upgrade regarding handling.

That Lingenfelter Corvette was damn impressive. I was surprised to see John was 48 in 1994, which means he's 77 now. For all the crap he's pulled, he's no doubt among the biggest car guys out there.

Mr. Lingenfelter died in 2003.

Did you guys notice how cheesy the shots were that they took of each owner? The Renntech one was the best haha.
