Can you tell by the VIN.# if a 1995 mustang is a R COBRA model?
What are other things to look for?
Thanks :-?

I believe you can tell by the vin number. I would have the info at home and could look it up tonight.

other things to look for:

1, no back seat
2, no radio or a/c
3, 351W engine
4, Cobra R wheels
5, large engine oil cooler behind lower fascia opening
6, no fog lights, just the open holes
7, raised hood
8, strut tower brace

just a few that come to mind.

Post the vin #, I have a list of all 93 and 95 R-Model vin, I can tell ya what number it was as well.

As well as what Cobra- R identified, it should have a power steering Cooler in left fog lamp opening, and a fuel cell. The rear exhaust is flattened near the fuel cell, and it should have Koni yellow double adjustable shocks, grey springs that have eibachs name on them as well.

Terry, I'd like to get a copy of the 93R and 95R vin number list. How and where?

Thanks, Paul.

Paul,
Get a copy of the SVT Cobra recognition guide. It has everything in there. I would guess that is what terry is using as a reference.
