So I disconnected the fuel rail side first and a lot of gas came out. Why the contents were under pressure is unknown. I played with the pump several days ago but perhaps that is why. Anyways, I drained the filter and waited a few minutes. Did the test and a high stream came out. Did this 4 times and it got worse and worse. I removed the filter and just ran it and dribbles came out. It got worse and worse till a couple drops was all that came out. Pump still primes like it's half ass self that I don't know it for. Surely it doesn't prime as long as it used to. So I am out of ideas in regards to this. I don't want to go buy another pump unless one of you thinks that's my issue. Obviously troubleshoots some more would help me instead of throwing parts at it. I will def. change the filter anyway. What I do know that I need is a schematic from Ford for my fuel system. I cannot find a downloadable technical service manual for the life of me for a 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra. Perhaps someone has this on file or a website that I can't seem to search? I'd DL it off piratebay but I don't trust those torrents. If I had a better understand of how my fuel system worked that may help me indeed. The configuration I have is very different from stock because of the inline pump. So, I am all ears again guys. Thank you very much for your help so far though, I've made some good progress in the course of 3 days just from your input.
