1998 SVT Contour Black/MNB interior 138k Asking $5500 obo

Paint is 9/10, had it professionally repainted. No damage, was just faded, was a FL car. Paint is in perfect shape, looks very nice. Pre98 trunk lid with CF wrapped Rear spoiler. Black hightowered headlights with HID projectors molded in. yellow fogs. Has all jack point covers. Stazi front grill mesh. Absolutely no rust, frame damage or anything.

Interior is 8/10. Nothing wrong with the interior, shows better then normal wear for the mileage. Pre98 center console. Sony Xplod headunit with kicker 6x9 speakers all around

All parts were installed 3k miles ago unless otherwise noted.

Engine is a 04 taurus 3l with 22k
SVT Cams and Intake TB hole enlarged to 75mm and EH
Escape Oil pan & pickup tube
65mm TB
MSDS Headers/Ypipe, headers are wrapped.
True Borla Cat-back(hard to find)
NPG Fenderwell CAI
New LUK clutch, pressure plate, TOB and resurfaced flywheel
B&M shifter
COP Conversion(coil-on-plug, no spark plug wires/coil pack)
Replaced Valve cover and Intake manifold bolts with allen head bolts for looks. I think its alot cleaner looking. Also used black braided hose for PVC and misc hoses.

Suspension
Brand new adjustable konis w/600 miles.
Ground Control CoilOvers w/600 miles
Freedom Design Front strut tower brace
New Control Arms
New Halfshafts
Have Poly RR that arent installed and a RSTB that isnt installed.

Rims
17x8 TSW Imola. I have 2 wheels pictured, the ones coming with the car are the gunmetal TSW. I still have the OZ supperleggeras but they need tires. Could work something out if the buyer really wants those wheels.

Comes with Xcal2 for tuning it along with bigger injectors. Mechanically sound, only problem is there is a slight grind in 3rd when you shift fast. Im just seeing what i can get for it now, if not ill fix the transmission and relist. Dont have much time right now, and building a garage for my toys... I have a company truck and a mustang im trying to finish. So the extra cash could help me as i dont drive this car like i use, its in my way, and id rather see someone else enjoy it. Ive had 6 of these svt contours. This is my nicest one, wasnt planning on selling it... I wouldnt hesitate to drive it anywhere.

Very nice csvt

If you were closer I would come check it out. What do you think the issue with the trans is? And what do you think it would take to get fixed? Do you think it is good for a DD in the short term?

Needs the synchronizer replaced. I can easily fix it one weekend, just have too many projects right now. It would prolly be a month or two before i can get around to it. I was DD it no problem, ive taken on a few short road trips. It doesnt grind if you shift slow, i really didnt want to list it with the trans issue but seeing if there is any interest first to save me some time.
