Well I got a couple passes in tonight with the new TVS and tune. 1st pass was a 12:00 at 120mph, was a 45 minute drive there and I didn't really cool down much.

And my glory pass was
2.069 60ft
5.332 330ft
7.881 1/8
97.67 mph
10.043 1000ft
11.860 1/4
126.67 mph

Mods in my Sig, this was on nitto 555r drag radials.
Definately has more potential on a better radial or big's and skinnies setup 10sec pass should be a realistic goal.

On a side not I got my ass handed to me by a 04 cobra, SRA swap big's and littles on a VMP TVS he went 10.8@134mph.

Sounds like fun, your car is definately capable of a 10 sec pass. Cobra was just set up a little better with probably more seat time.

Yah it was a good time for sure. I said when we got there if I could rip a 11.90 i'd be happy. I'm on stock suspension pretty much and had 28psi in my tires lol. with some better prep and a better tire, if I cut a 1.8 or 1.7 I'd be knocking on 10's at 128-130ish.

It's a ford replacement part - making it A LOT cheaper than any of the others.

Tim, sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! I wish I could have made it.

Well I know it's cheaper and what it is....... Do you have any spec information? Something I can compare to this TVS vs other one on the market

I think with the vmp you get the snout already machined for smaller pulleys and has a higher flowing inlet port. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that is the case over the ford racing TVS, I wanna say this 2013 version was based off of Justins TVS so it's very similar from what i've read up. I could also be wrong, yes the price was to hard to pass up. The TVS JLT intake, pulley and Tune ran me under 3k.

Our inlet is different, the elbow is different, yes the snout is machined. Fords source learned a lot through our R&D, so they can't literally copy it (right, Apple?)

Oh..And ours doesn't look like it was molded in a bad bread pan then beaten with an ugly stick.

And ours comes with a warranty. Theirs doesnt.

You definitely got more in it. My best pass was 2mph stronger but almost a full second better, largely due to 60ft. The 555r's are not going to help at your power level, but are definitely an upgrade over F1s. Either get 05r's for the stock rims or get a bigs/littles. Also try 17-20psi in the Nittos.

Vmp tvs doesn't need porting like the 2013 tvs does.....frpp leaves power on the table.
