To get a 11 sec pass, you need a 7.7 to 7.8 at around 90 in the 1/8th. Your trap also needs to be at least 115. The mods you have should get you close to or into the 11's but with that mph, you are not making more than 410ish rwhp. I would have them check your car.

Your trap speed is very low for a 2.8 pulley.

I trapped 114 WITHOUT a pulley.

Are you tuned?

+1

And if you want you could always switch to M/T DR's! A much better track tire!!IMO When I ran on my nittos and then switched to M/T DR's....a night and day difference!!

With exhaust, pulley liek yo ualready have, get thta bab ytuned and you will be in the 11's no problem..12.7 is stock 03 Cobra times..you should be trapping 116+ mph..go get her tuned, you should be around 450RWHP with those mods.

I ran a 12.6@113 bonestock. With the same mods as you, and a custom tune, I ran a traction limited (yea yea, ricer talk) 11.6@122.

As previously stated, get A TUNE, and don't run it hard untill you do so. What were you shifting at though? What was the DA? (weather and track elevation)

i agree something is not right ... on street tires at 2600 ft i ran
60' at 2.122
1/8 [email protected] corrected [email protected]
1/4 [email protected] corrected [email protected] ... alll i had was cat-back and cold air on stock goodyears ...
so you can see that you got me at the line but at the eighth i am faster and at the 1/4 you barely get there quicker .... get it tuned before you hurt your car

This correction factor thing always makes me laugh if you ran a 13.2 thats what you ran not a 12.8 :bash:

Not to get off topic, but correction is a joke. As for trapping 90 in the 1.8th and getting an 11 sec slip, I went [email protected] and finished at 12.22@119. I would say alot of your troubles is unfortunately driver related. Also, get a tune and check the A/F before you go back out. Good Luck.

I also said 7.7 to 7.8 in the 1/8. I took the vette to the track this weekend and ran 12.0X 6 times with 7.7X 1/8 miles at 92. My fastest trap was 116 with a DA of 2200+.I need to lose some weight, my car is 3500+ lbs with me driving.

BTW: My car only dyno 384 rwhp and 410 rwtq.

launching at 4500 wont that throw you into a burnout? Im on Nitto 555's and think i'd spin em at that rpm. Im going to be running a Ported, Eaton/elbow/TB, steeda CAI, Magnaflow C/B, 2.8 pulley and tensioner and SCT MAF. What kinda numbers could i be expecting and what rpms should i launch and shift from? never raced at a track :(
