Had my 99 35th anniversary Termi swap dyno'd/ tuned by Lidio at alternative auto. I was very happy with the session, results and Lidio specifically. Over the winter while building the car he's been awesome, replying to emails late at night and weekends always willing to offer up info.

Anyhow, the car made 660/600 rwhp on his dyno jet. That was at 20.5psi with 23 degrees of timing on corn with full supporting mods (long tubes, 2.5" full bassani exhaust, return fuel system, JLT gen 1, SCT BA2400, 80 lb/hr etc.)

I had a 3" pulley that should have made 24psi but figured this was safer with stock headbolts and since it's a street car max, power wasn't ultimate concern.

I'm interested in feedback from some knowledgeable guys on here.

One thing I was happy to find was that my centerforce dual friction held up to that power level on the dyno. I'll be swapping to a 26 spline input and dual disc but wanted to dyno before so I could do a proper break in on the new clutch for longevity.

Nice numbers man

At first I was like 23* timing on a 2.6, good luck. Then I saw the corn part

I just did my 2,9 on corn myself!

Those are pretty good numbers. I am surprised the 2400 maf held that power. You should think about upgrading to the ba3000.

I made 694hp and 674tq on corn at 20.5psi with 18.5* on my 2.8h, so your not far off. I'd be happy with that.

Those are good numbers, on corn I would expect a bit more. The bigger blowers need to be spun up more to see the real results. I have the old school 2.2 (an inferior blower but I love the scream too much to change it)and put down 674 on 91 and meth at 19 psi. Don't remember the timing. The difference is mines maxed out and you could just increase boost any time you want.

Yeah I have a gen 1 JLT cold air and ba2400 which I'm thinking may be my restriction. In any case I figure 660 at the tires on the street is going to be a handful, maybe I'll do more to it next winter. My tuner had said the same, he figured around 700 based on prior cars so I'm sure it's there with a few changes.

Yeah I think your probably spot on too. My MAF never pegged but I'm sure the inlet diameter and the way the original JLT connects could be impeding airflow at those higher boost and hp numbers.

I am running a gen 1 JLT HB on mine. The maf housings are all the same 90mm. So thats not a restriction. I went from a ba2400 to the ba3000 and they are the same diameter, ba3000 is just aluminum instead of plastic.

Oh I assumed you had the high boost newer model. What TB do you run? I have the bbk twin 65 and I port matched the inlet to it. Maybe that's the restriction.

Nice numbers. I made on my 2.6 656 & 622 on 17 lbs. 3.5 upper on 100 octane. I want to go back and put on the 3"upper and see what it makes.

I have a ba2600 and my maf counts are only in the 880's. That's on 21psi and 23* timing.

Just datalog and see where it's at. These aftermarket ones can handle more than most think.

Doubtful its a restriction. I have a stock inlet tube, factory maf housing with a mafia and make 714/680 at 22psi on E85.

Nice numbers and that's a clean looking setup. What kind of dyno was that on?
