Me and a friend of mine are going to install a RR 2.8 pulley on Saturday. This might be a stupid qyestion, but when you put the new pulley on, do you have to torque it to a certain lb/ft? Also, any tips would be great guys. Thanks.

Tip - use some antiseize on the threads and washers of the puller. Also apply some antiseize on the blower snout before installing the new 2.8.

since ive been going through pulley hell I can answer this one, the upper pulley on the charger is a pressure fit, ie it pushes on and the tight fight and friction keeps it on, there is nothing to torque or tighten as there are no bolts holding it on.

just make triple sure when you put it on that its facing the right way, I know that sounds obvious but seen too many get put on backwards in these forums. Some pulleys look almost the same on both sides so just be careful and take your time.

After you get the pulley on, mark it and make sure that its not sliding on the shaft.
