2000 mustang theft light help

hey i just got a 2000 V6 mustang the car has juice..... but it wont turn over or anything and the guy just called me and said the theft light is on????

its in theft mode . either key ng or transciever no good . first step is to pull codes and see results . will prob have p1260 and p1601 in it thats theft detected veh disabled . either take to dealer or have repatable lockssmith ck it out
