2001 Cobra Vortech timing?

Hey,

What kind of timing should I run SAFLEY on a stock 2001 enging with a 8lb vortech. 90 mm maf, 42lb injectors. I have had two prople say 13-13.5 and one say 18-19?

I ran 8 for a wile and then my # 7 took a total shit on me. I would get it tuned really good if you are going to run that much.

I'm also curious on timing. I'm running a Novi 1000 with the paxton air/air and the 8lb pulley.

I don't quite understand what you posted? You ran 8 what? lbs of boost?

What exactly happend to #7? How many miles was the blower on for? How do you know it was the tune?


I'm just curious cause most guys are running 10lbs on the stock block and it they seem to be lasting.
