For sale is my 2001 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
Location: College Park, MD
-2001 Firebird Trans Am
-5.7L LS1, does not burn oil, no weird noises
-only 42xxx miles
-black on black
-automatic transmission, shifts smooth
-only modifications are Speed Engineering headers and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers
-clean Carfax: 2 owners, no accidents
-steering wheel tilt was broken when I bought the car, it has been replaced
-t-tops do not leak
I planned to put a cam and stall in the car before I got the Cobra, never bought a cam but I do have a BNIB 4000 stall RevMax and a B&M Trans cooler I can include with the sale if you want.
This car has treated me very well so far, never really had any issues aside from the tilt. When I did the headers I did not put cats on the car nor did I hook up the AIR system. The SES light is on because of this. I have verified that is the only reason for the SES with a code reader.
The car is in overall very good condition. It is pretty much stock (I can even include the stock manifolds and midpipe) or it would be a perfect canvas for a stalled, cammed drag car. I personally haven't raced the car, and the guy I bought it from was in his 60s so I doubt he raced it.
