I had one replaced under warranty because it was hazy. At the time the other wasn't hazy and they wouldn't replace it. Now the other is hazy and it is out of warranty.

HISTORY OF THE FOGGY FOG LIGHTS

These foggy fog light lenses are very common on these trucks. In 2003, Ford had many complaints of this and put out a TSB for it. The problem was that the original fog lights had a reflector cone in them and that built up too much heat. The covers discolored over time and many turned brown from the heat. The new design foglights were installed in the TSB and they do not have that cone. I had mine done at 3,000 miles (it had one that was discolored) and both have been good since then.
