Great job! I have made the same commitment; no mods until I learn how to drive it in the 12's stock. Other than keeping the tires dry, what else did you do to improve your launch ?

launching it...

Well the tires were at the normal 32 psi the only thing i tried is rpms, the first run i did a normal street launch and it netted a 13.28 @ 110 then i raised it a little to 2000 rpms i then got a 13.009 @ 110.51 i tried the final run at 2500 rpms slipping the clutch very quickly and flooring it that got me a 12.971 with a 2.105 60 foot @ 110, all shifts were done between 6000-6300 I didnt powershift or any of that stuff just shifted quickly I also didnt heat my tires up or anything just rolled up ,staged and ran.Hope this helps ya......good luck!!!! I know i have a 12.7-12.8 in there yet !!!!!

Get a set of Nitto Drag Radials 275/40/17's they fit perfoect on the 17x9 rims on the 03 Cobra. These tires have cut my 60 ft times by as much as 4/10's of a second. I use to cut 2.10-2.20 with my car. Now with the Nitto's 1.70-1.80 range. Makes a big difference in the 1/4 mile. Good Luck and be safe!!

New best for me too. Was doing 13.2's at best. Check out my sig...

Temp was about 72 and MUGGY.

I did a better 60' (2.09) than you with a similar MPH. But could NOT reach the 12 mark... DAMN IT!

Jungle you will gain 10-15 more rrwhpafter 6-10k miles. You got a tight one and IMHO there good for alot more abuse and last alot longer than the people allegedlly dynoing 20+ more hp stock.
Great run I want to be JUST LIKE YOU when(and if) I grow up.
