My buddy has a 03 Gt stock Is is normal for such a lose of power from 120 to 140MPH. He says it can get to 120 faster than from 120 to 140 Just wondering what he can do to gain the top end power/tq. Thanks for your info.

A vortech ;-)
The 2v on the GT is pretty good for low end torq. but not so hot for high end.
The 2v needs to breath better, a good set of heads intake xhaust,
air flow meter that kinda stuff.
