Selling my 03 MG (1 of 302 ever made) Coupe as a roller. Can’t believe I’m doing this but I’ve decided to head down another road for now. I am the second owner of this car. I bought this car in January of 2015 with 18k miles. The car has been a blast and I think it’s time for someone else to enjoy.
Very clean car, would give it a 9/10 overall inside and out. Car has 25k original miles and only a couple flaws inside and out. I will be as thorough in my description as humanly possible. Flaws first.
The interior flaws as pictured:
-Small scrape on the climate control panel
-Two tiny dark spots on passenger seat backrest
-Small solder iron burn in rear seat leather backrest
The exterior flaws as pictured. ZERO dings or dents, car just has three scratches and a couple of other touched up stone chips on the fenders, bumper and one on the roof.
-Scratch on front right fender
-Scratch on top of right door
-Scratch on rear bumper, touched up
The only panels I ever had painted were the hood, front bumper and both rockers.
The car is sitting on a built solid rear that was built just two years or 2k miles ago. All new parts less the housing of course.
Rear End:
-‘02 GT housing
-Straightened and welded tubes
-Team Z horizontal and vertical brace kit
-Eaton TrueTrac diff
-Moser 31 spline axles
-Ford Racing 3.55:1 gearset
-Ford Racing rear cover
-All new Ford bearings and seals
-Cobra pinion flange
-Welded GT brake caliper brackets and rotors
-Powder coated semigloss black
Chassis/Suspension:
-H&R Race springs all around (1 coil cut rear)
-Stock Bilsteins up front
-Strange 10 ways out back
-UPR double adjustable upper control arms
-UPR single adjustable lower control arms
-Baseline suspensions anti-roll bar
-Had the control arms and ARB powder coated same semi gloss black as rear end when I put it all together
-Weld-in Global West Competition full length subframe connectors, coated satin black
-Weld-in and bolt-in UCA and LCA torque box reinforcements, coated satin black
-Prothane front sway bar urethane bushings
Full Standalone Fuel System:
-Sumped stock tank
-Weldon DB2025-A pump, -12 inlet, -10 outlet
-Weldon 2040-281-A-120 1:1 boost-referenced regulator
-Weldon fuel pump controller, potentiometer and toggles in center console
-Painless key-on relay turns pump on when key is in position 2
-10 feed and return lines, Earl’s PTFE black polyester braided convoluted hose from pump to engine bay and from regulator to tank. This stuff is like $12 per foot, very very nice hardware. Earl’s black anodized fuel hose ends.
-Aeromotive fuel filters pre-pump and post-pump. 40 micron Stainless Steel pre-pump and 10 micron Stainless Steel filter post-pump. I believe these filters are washable and reusable.
