So far I have removed the air scilencer, bought a K&N drop in filter, and put 3'' pipes from the cats, though dual flows. Should/Would removing the cats make the car louder? More Power? What should I do next??

the cats will probably not help much in the way of performance on a 6 cylinder. Toss the euros though.
