I hear they put out around 550HP. Is this true?? Anyone know what kind of rwhp #'s they have?

I think Ford got the GT500 just right. Remember, this Saleen is going to be a hell of a lot more than the GT500. I have no factual information, but I would say $50k-$60k at least.

:bowdown: AMEN! Thats why i want one. because the feeling that you know alot of people can't afford or have one one, just makes it better IMO than a GT500. BTW i love the clear roof :coolman:

i was looking at one of the new saleen's for awhile, but i wasnt quite used to the new body style still. But when i was looking they were asking $58,000

Before I bought my new C6 I looked at the new supercharged Saleen, an 05 model. Not the E of course but the 425hp version. Not bad but it was around $55K while the C6 was $51K. I just felt the Vette had more to offer, except with less room at or about the same price. So I think if I had to choose between a Z06 and S281E, go Z06!!

I can't wait to run into one. I've played with a new white one, just couldn't tell if it was supercharged. I'm guessing not.
