Hey guys, I was just posting this up to give you an idea of the kind of work that I do, if you want, you can check out Autopia.org and search under my username (sftempest66) to see many of the other cars that I have done...I'm trying to save up as much money as possible before I go off to college in August (I'll be attending UCF!!!) and detailing has been proving to be a great way to do that for the past year :coolman:

-Optimum Compound/LC Orange pad
-Optimum Poliseal/LC White Pad
-AJT
-Wheel wells degreased with Simple Green 4:1, Pressure Cleaned, then dressed with AA/Hyper Dressing
-Motor Degreased with Simple Green 4:1, AA Foam/Hyper Dressing 2:1
-Tires are wearing AA Tire Gel

Interior:
-Vacuum
-Meg's APC 4:1 Upholstery/Floor

And finally, some pictures of the paint. Ford has really got their act together because this truck's paint was very nice. Compared to my 03, the orange peel on this car was extremely minute compared to my mach and the flake was just incredible!!!

Some pictures of the water etching, in the second picture you can see the upper portion of the hood still has some, I was doing 1/4 sections at a time...If you look at the lower light you will see the compounded surface

Very well done!! So where do you get the AA foam/ hyper dressing? Another qusetion did you have to cover up any electronics under the hood before cleaning? I've always been skeptic about cleaning under the hood with water, I always used cleaner and a microfiber cloth.

You can get the Armor All tire foam at pretty much any Advanced auto, Pepboys, walmart, etc...All tire foam's work pretty similar so I just pick whatever is cheapest!!!

Hyper dressing can be found online at many stores, I personally order from Autogeek.net

As for covering up parts under the motor, I'll usually wrap a bag around the fuse box, and maybe the MAF on some cars, but I don't get too close with the Pressure washer since the Degreaser does all of the work....Everything is pretty water proof and I've never had a problem with any cars that I've done. After I foam the motor, I'll start it up before the water has time to sit, that way the foam bakes on, and the heat from the motor evaporates any water that MIGHT cause any damage....

So trigger isn't a paste wax.. just a spray on wax? wierd
Yes, but its extremely durable and looks incredible on pretty much all colors, You'll see 4-6 months of beading, and it only takes 10 minutes to do a full sized SUV :pepper:
