Btw guys, these cars have major major potential. Slap on a big cam with ported intake manifold and TB, and all the rest of the supporting mods including tune, they will break the 500whp mark "cam only" haha. Cheaper than a c6z, but if i had the money id take a c6z over it anyways. :-D

Well, I just got a GT500 and I got to say, I question my decision everyday, although I do love what I have. But Im just a Ford guy and it probably would not matter how awsome the vette was

Awesome gains for not having to void the warranty, how much do these weigh (are they Z06 terroritory on the weight as well?)
I'm telling you, they started going down the wrong path by making the 03 blown, instead of just putting the FR500 stuff on the Cobra. Just think, a couple years of 380- 400 at the wheels, lighter, better handling and then in 3 or 4 years, they could just go with the 5.0, while making even btter heads and intake.
I know, the 03/04s are great cars with the ability to make insane power, but I think that similar power could be achieved with adding a blower to a 4.6 with the FR500 or even Mach/Cobra heads with the FR500 intake, would recult in power similar to what we are seeing with the 03/04 Cobras, and you still would get a lighter car, and thereby get similar performance with a lower output car, if that was the case.
THEN, maybe we wouldn't have gotten suck with a $40+k Shelby as the only "Cobra" available.
