My older brother has a very good friend who owns a 2008 Supersnake he is thinking of selling to acquire a 2014 Stingray. He already has a 2011 ZR1 and wants to drop the Snake to get the Stingray. The car barely has 2000 miles on it and just sits in his garage. I have not been able to find any information on current market value on these cars. Any guesses?

An important $$$ factor is if it is a 605 or 630 horse, or if it is a 725 or 750 horse, depending upon when it was sent out for it's build, it could be any of these power levels as part of the standard build. If it is a newer 2008 build does it have the rear brake upgrade, the cooling system upgrade? etc. All of this factors into the price.

If it is an earlier build and has the optional 725 KB, I am seeing these cars currently in the mid to high $60K's. Recently at Mecum Auction - Kissimmee Florida one 725 sold for $81K with lower miles and another 725 with 800 or so miles went to $100K no sale (the bid goes on). A 605 also sold at that auction for $67K or $68K. <<To me, and what I have watched over the last 4+ years are not the normal $$$ for the current market.

What appears to be the "normal" market is a 725 recouping the original cost of the Shelby upgrade ($32K-$35K) and the normal depreciated price of the GT500 itself added together, of course this depends upon the year and miles, options, etc.

From what I understand it is the 725 or 750 car. Very nice as you can see.

Black is a good color, I see it has HID's (nice oem option), and upper side scoops were chosen instead of 1/4 window block-off plates for the Super Snake build. Red Baers up front, Nice against a Black car.

Thanks for the information. I would love to wrap my hands around it, but that is big money.

As long as this package is offered for the 2008 (until the limit is met) and as long as the regular production GT500 continues to depreciate, the prices will fall further. <<Once either of these items stop, the market will turn.

My brother in law has an '07 40th convert he's wanting to sell. It has 150 miles on it. We're having a hard time coming up with a value as well. It was a real early car/conversion.
