2009 GT500 Convertible Styling Bar Question

Hi Fellas,

Need some guidance on finding a good quality styling bar for a neighbor's 2009 GT500 convertible. I recently installed a CDC light bar on my 03 Cobra and he really liked its fit / finish and overall quality. So, he wants one, but he doesn't want the 3rd brake light. American Muscle doesn't carry the 'styling bar', just the light bar (from CDC). He'd really like to stick with the CDC brand. Does anyone know where I can find the CDC styling bar without the light for the 09 GT 500? This seems like a tougher item to find than I originally thought!

Don't know that I have seen one without the brake light - kind of curious why he does not want it - only works with top down, and you cant tell its there from the drivers seat....CDC unit is a quality piece, have had one for about nine years now....best of luck in your search

Can you just remove the light and make a filler panel for it?

You could tint the light lens to make it less noticeable, or take the bulb out and paint it black to match if he absolutely doesn't want the 3rd light.

Or don't connect the wires. You want a CDC light bar, hands down the best. The cheap ones are cheap.
