2010-2012 GT 500 grille for the mustang gt

Hey Guys,

I have been going back and forth about what grille that I want in my 2014 MUSTANG GT I actually bought the CDC 12-14 grille brand new, never installed it and now I actually wish i could put in a 2010-2012 grill. Im pretty sure no one makes a 2010 style lower for the GT but i was wondering if anyone made the upper for the 13-14... if not, does the actual 2010-2012 upper grill fit right in?

hey Will,

unfortunately the gt500 grill will not fit into the 2013/14 bumper. The corners are shaped slightly differently. In order to use the gt500 grill you'd have to replace your bumper with a 2010-2014gt500 bumper.

Ahh, darn!

I had a feeling it would come down to come thing like that, do you know of any manufacturers that make a diamond mesh style grill like that? For the 13-14??

Do you have a link to what grille you want exactly? You can do a lot with a grille including adding your own mesh.

I was hoping that I could get something just like this, I see now that the bottom corners are sharper and the GT is more rounded off.. I want the OEM look but the more aggressive OEM look of the gt500 without doing a front end conversion

I haven't seen any aftermarket ones similar to that, but you can add the ones I have and find a mesh close to that pattern and added it to the back of the grille.

Yea, I bought the CDC version of the 13-14 GT500 grill. Looks really good actually, just started to think about the gaping whole and considered doing something that kept a little more protected

I may just say EFF it and install the 13-14 style. I always liked that look a lot anyways
