2010-2014 GT500 - How can I paint the Heat Extractor, Hood Insert?

that part is supposed to be the black texture finish, right? Why not use solution finish? I know it won't be painted, but it will look new... Solution Finish is awesome stuff, clean with rubbing alcohol, apply a coat, and left it cure. Apply a second coat it needed and maintain with a solvent based trim sealant.

Because that's not the look I wanted.

I bought a new one already. It's the new one that I painted. I wanted it to match my hood exactly.

It does now, so I'm happy with it, but it took some time to get it there.

Yes avoid that place. Not sure how I saw a gas station in your pic.
But yes, based on that pic, painting the vent body color will be a huge improvement.

Not really a quality pic, but it’s just as shiny and reflective as the rest of the car. The angles and overcast don’t let it show in this pic. When there is better lighting and clear skies I’ll try again.
