2010 mustang

Not sure if anyone has seen this yet but according to the new car and driver mag i recieved to the 2010 mustang will be a 6.2L 400+hp V8. :beer:

Wrong, no 6.2 for the Mustang, ever.

'10 is a carry over 4.6L 3v.

'11 is a 5.0L/4v (Modular based) 400hp/360tq.

Dont see a thread about this 1. I see a 2010 mustang/lexus thread but not about car and driver saying 6.2L. Hmm guess car and driver is wrong

Also 2010 is a carry over of the current engine and 2011 says 6.2L This is all according to the june car and driver. So anyone that says/knows otherwise thats cool im just saying what the mag says. And if dodge can have a 6.1L then we can have a 6.2L

C&D was discussed in the Mustang v Lexus thread. Just go to the last page of the linked thread and read the update I just posted. It has all the latest and most correct info in it.

The Challenger weighs 4150lbs and will have 425 then 440hp (VCT version of the 6.1). The Mustang GT (significantly cheaper btw) will have a 400hp/360tq N/A 5.0L/4V revised Modular with VVT @ 3600lbs. PtW says the Mustang GT will own.
The GT500 will slaughter.
