So I recently installed my 2.5 pulley, VMP tune, NGK TR7IX, and C&L INTAKE.
The tune feels good but I feel with my revised tune from Justin that my boost and numbers willl go up. (505/520 currently)
1st issue with my C&L intake is that I believe the iron casting of the intake tube hits the engine cover on any dips/bumps and makes an annoying noise.
Like a constant clunk.
2nd issue is that it doesn't look as good as stock. (i love the svt heat shield)
I will be putting back the stock CAI w/ the FRPP resonator delete with a blue airaid filter.
will i loose any power by doing this? I'm hoping it won't make a difference.
The heat shield is a little loose because one end attached to the fender is slightly broken so I think that's why it's doing it.
but then again I am not 100% sure what else it could be... Ive tried shaking the intake and it does make a clunk noise when it touches the engine bay...
...but if it is not the intake, what else can it be???
A shop did all the labor, is there something that could have been left loose while doing a pulley, spark plugs, iddler, intake change?
