The T bolts are much stronger you can really tighten them down so you dont have a intercooler pipe pop off. The stock worm gear bolts if you tighten them too much they will break.

Also the T bolts are wider so you get more clamp on the hose.

Thats because this was a badass idea. This saves people all kinds of time trying to piece a set together. Most tbolt clamps sell for $3.50-$7 each (locally to me) so if you are getting 20 for $80 thats not bad at all. To me its a no brainer!

I switched to all T bolt clamps on my pro charger kit. Well worth the extra insurance and they look better than the worm gear clamps
