We took the Air to Water intercooler off of our twin turbo project and fitted it to Joe Coffeeman's D1 Procharged 5.0. We switched back to the stock fan and coolant tank, which I prefer. The nice thing about this setup is from the intercooler to the throttle body, it's EXACTLY like the twin turbo car, including the MAF. So this should standardize tuning for anyone with this setup. Regardless if it's a procharger, vortech or turbo.
Anyway, to the pics

We still need to do some back to back testing on a 'typical' setup. On Joe's car we are spinning the D1 so hard so it's not a good gauge. Once we get the design finalized we will test it in a bunch of different configurations.
Joe's car is getting an F1 on it now, we won't be spinning that nearly as hard. So that will be a good test. I see the F1 with this intercooler setup being a good option for someone that wants to push it but doesn't want a turbo.
