So does anyone know for sure if this will be an option? I know they offer the front wheel drive only in the small 4cyl version, but will they offer the ecoboost in a 3.5 or larger version?

I haven't seen any plans for anything other than the 2.0 EB.

Ford would sell MILLIONS if they offered the 3.5 liter EB!!!! I would get rid of the foreign $hit my wife drives instantly!

for some strange reason I think for is going to put the ecoboost in more then just the f_150 and SHO.... The explorer and the flex will probably get them. More turbo motors to come from factory im sure.

Flex already has EB(In Limited and Titanium trims mind you), you can NOW get the Explorer and the Edge with EB, 2.0L FWD.

Went and test drove the 2.0L EB Explorer, Base trim. I gotta admit that thing will get up and move for an SUV, slight turbo lag and then BAM. 20 city/28 highway mpgs on window sticker. Overall was impressed, seats were comfy, nice standard features for base trim, 3rd row, rear AC, was right around 30K MSRP too.
