2011 gt vs 2000ish firebird/trans am

Lastnight I was out for a drive with the wife and a couple guys in a 2000ish firebird or trans am ( I don't know for sure it was dark out) wanted to test me. I was driving the speed limit approaching the highway and could see this car coming up on me pretty fast. He gets in the fast lane to pass me but then slows right down to stay beside me. I was doing about 90kph or 55mph and dropped her down to 4th gear just to let him know that I was interested. I see them guys looking at me and then all of a sudden buddy just drops a couple gears, floors it and gets a quick little jump on me. As soon as I hear his exhaust open up I bumped it in to 3rd and put the pedal down. I chirped the tires and instantly walked around him putting a couple car lengths on him before I hit the top of 3rd. I am surprised at how fast I put lengths on that ls! Buddy got worked... :-D

Very nice kill! He was most likely stock. Always good to stretch the legs.
