i believe that the days of bad ass sounding mustangs are over. With the placement of the mufflers in the rear, and vct, the 3v and the new 5.0 just can not and will not ever sound as good as the 2v and 4.6 4v's.

When i was looking at exhaust for my 3v, i was very unhappy with everything that i heard. With the exception of mac exhaust. That was the only exhaust that gave the s197's some of the deep hollow tone that the 2v's and 4v's were known for. I would like to hear the o/r prochamber, with the mac axlebacks on the new 5.0.

Btw: The magnaflow muffler delete sounded like a wet fart on that 5.0...:nonono:

All of them have way too much crackling/raspy on the throttle lift. Makes it sound like popping cans or plastic bubble wrap. Or something breaking.

Sounds in line with the mopars (charger/challenger). Some will like it, some not. But they're all raspy. The Corsa has the best tone since its more mellow, through the range, but again too rapsy on lift.

Never gonna be like a pushrod: I recall trying my 331 with an o/r pipe with XR1 borlas and it was a NASCAR symphony w/o hurting the ears. Not gonna happen with these 5.0s.

Here is my Kooks Cat-back. Still undecided between an X or H pipe. After hear the exhausts with both an X and H, I think the H actually sounds better.
