How is $100k cheaper than building a high 9 sec car yourself?

with most people, it'll be a trial and error process... resulting in paying to replace broken pieces that they thought would work. this all eventually adds up. notice they said they basically broke all the parts that would break within reason.
their price of course has a premium added to it, but it's a vehicle from ford that goes 9 seconds with all the trial and error taken out of all the parts in the vehicle.
does it mean it cannot break? nope... but most likely has a lesser chance seeing as ford already did the r&d on the parts.
