Went down to Mexico for some runs with a friend for the “5.0 daddy” title, he won We plan to run again.

2012 mods: Cobra Jet manifold, VMP twin 67mm throttle body, PMAS cold air, Comp Cams Stage 3 CR series cams, Full JBA exhaust, Pump E85, Lund tuning, JMS avenger drag wheels, removed passenger and rear seats.

2018 mods: Cobra Jet manifold, VMP twin 67mm throttle body, PMAS cold air, Full Corsa exhaust, C85, Lund tuning, 3.73 gears, Racestar Drag wheels, Baer drag brakes all around, removed passenger and rear seats.

First run was a 30 which is first gear for me (MT82 w/ 3.31 gears) and it was my fault for not getting the tires hot so it spun on the hit and into 2nd a bit. Advantage: 2018

Second run was a 50 which is pretty good for me (55-60 is optimal) and I was able to get him by 1/2-3/4 car. Advantage: 2012

Last run was a 40, too low for 2nd and too high for 1st for me. Also, for the first time ever, my cams reverted to 0 on the 2-3 shift, so the 2018 was able to take that one, too.

2018- 2
2012- 1

Awesome runs! Those 2018 10R cars are STOUT!

Curious as to why he did 3.73s over 3.55s?
