2013 Gt500 vs Full Bolt on 5.0

So i had a buddy of mine come to me with his full bolt on 5.0, he has everything on the car, and only thing left for him to do is go turbo, supercharger or nitrous.

We decided to race my Stock 2013 GT500 against his 5.0 and he made the video of the race

The 5.0 forgot one Bolt-On = Jato Rocket.

That was the outcome I would have expected.

I've owned two 5.0s and my 75 year old father has a 2013 5.0 manual tranny.

The 5.0s are very fast and put the power down well, but compared to a 13 gt500 or a earlier GT500 with a TVS it is no comparison, especially from a roll.

Close one there. Again..5.0 is a solid platform but cannot make up for 240 HP with bolt-ons only including the weight difference.

This video clearly shows the difference between the 13'+ Shelby and 5.0.
A stock 2010-2012 Shelby vs a full bolt on 5.0 would be MUCH closer...

No one seems to know the true mod list..... Heads & Cam aren't a bolt-on's. It's pretty obvious from this video that "Full Bolt-On" is slightly overstated, to me it looks more like a stock '13 GT500 vs a tune/exhaust/cai car. However, that's speculation. If it we're truly Full Bolt-On with a Cobra Jet setup. It would have been a much closer race, 13/14 GT500's are monsters from a roll especially!
