they will fit, but you wont have the coolant passages like the 2013's have for their heads

What year 5.4 ?I assume your speaking of a iron 5.4 2 valve motor . That's the only block that the water passages are different .If that's the case I will find out if they work on that 5.4

Yes. I am using a Lightning short block and want to use GT500 heads.

OK the 14 GT500 comes with a rear cross over tube that will support the extra water passages , I will throw it for you in the deal ,let me know
