2014 instrument cluster swap into 2013

Greetings All,

New member here with noob questions.

I want to install a 2014 cluster with the Cobra into my 2013. How does this affect my VIN, I.e when servicing etc. I spoke to my local dealer, they won’t do it. From what I understand it can be done without issue. But I’m relatively new to the s197. Any advice is much appreciated.

Kind of makes no sense.
Except for the guy that wanted to swap the 13 cluster into the 14...ha ha.
Seems silly.

I would imagine you should be to swap it with no issues, I know to swap it into a 11/12 there's a lot of work.

Simple swap, programming PATS is all that is needed. Have the mileage on the new cluster corrected before programming.

A work around is to disable PATS via tune. Then it'll work. But then pats are gone.

You can’t fully remove PATS with a tune only on newer cars.
