2015 engine or built 2012

i have a built 2012 mustang with diamonds pistons and eagle road

and i have an issue on the piston rings i have to replace it and i have a knock noises from the timing chain idk where exactly


and my friend offered me 2015 engine with pretty good price


the Q is .. should i stick with the same engine or should i go with the 2015


i need an expert opinion about what should i choose

Depends how much power your going for. Over 700whp, definitely have the built engine fixed IMO. Eagle rods and diamond pistons are real forged parts designed for boost.
