I've been doing a little reading on the GT V6. I understand that it uses a lot of stock parts, including heads with mild porting and stock size valves. It gets 600 hp with 10 lbs boost? It looks like it hits that mark at 7300 rpm. Well, if a guy could get an extra 1800 rpm (over 5500) with boost remaining constant, that would mean 1/3d more power right there, and an otherwise stock engine running 87 gas would make 480 hp!
so, my question: HOW DID THEY GET TO 7300 REDLINE?
