So with the rain tray installed on the car we have yet to get info on exactly where the water goes that is collected in the tray correct?

I know Ford has said it's easy to remove (like a dozen bolts or something) but say you're parked and it's pouring rain and you have the tray installed where does the water go that's collected in the tray? The opposite Q is if you don't have the tray installed and get caught in a rainstorm with the car parked will you drown the top of the engine with water?

Without being able to see detailed pictures of entire rain tray and vent, it is not possible to determine. WAG - Without the tray, most of the water will drop on the engine. With the tray, if the tray is open on the leading edge (front), it will probably drain between the engine and the radiator support.
