275/40/17 tires on 10.5" rears?

I realize this might be information only pertinent to myself, but since the search function is back online (Thanks to the great Steve Holland for his hard work :thumbsup: ), I thought i'd at least throw something in here for future searchers.

I just got off the phone with AFS. They stated that our stock tires will fit on the 10.5" rear's, although he did say that anything smaller might be a problem. He also said that his buddy owns an 03 Cobra, and that they measured his stock rims at 9.5" in the rears.
I've done some searching, and find this sentiment repeated randomly throughout the archives.
If anyone has verifiable information on this, PLEASE speak up :beer:

Toadie... the front and rears are the same size.

You can rotate them in a front to back pattern, so they have to be the same.

They are listed as 9", but perhaps the measurement these guys took was from a different point on the wheel?
