Guys, The cobra needs new tires. Car is daily driven and does see rain quite a bit.

I can't decided between these three: KDW2 vs. INVO vs. NT05.
Looking specially for people that have had them and can compare.

What do you guys think? :dw:

I'm a BFG man.

My car never has seen rain, but the KDW's are 9/10 wet, and 10/10 dry traction rated.

I have the 295 Nitto INVO's on my DSG (came with the wheels), great in the rain & driving...not so great for hooking from a stop!! ...I also have the Nitto 555 & 555R's on the wife's Cobra, GREAT ALL around tire!! :)

PS: I'm selling the 295's if interested....they have about 300 miles on them! :) PM me if interested!!!!!

timspony - I also have a DSG..... nice choice in color!!

I curretly have the 555Rs... They are nice tires, but I need street tires.
I also have new 555s in front and they would look weird with the KDW2s.

How bad is the traction with the INVO ? Looks like you're not happy.
What are you getting next?

Traction great in the rain, driving normal, corners.....just don't try to smash the pedal from a dead stop or you will spin...my understanding is that these tires are great on a open track...trust me, I like them, just going to put a DR back on!!

I'm a nitto guy through and through. Both nitto tires in question are quiet and do very well. If you are more concerned with hooking and having good drivability, then nt05 all the way. If you want true street tires that aren't gonna hook like crazy, then get the INVO. Both are great tires.

My vote is the never used Nitto 555R II. Dry traction is amazing in a straight line, and turning is amazing. I drove in light rain on the freeway going 60mph (being extra cautious) and they seemed very well.

I've had my KDW2s for 37k miles now and they are still ok in the rain. I have 295/35ZR18s now but I'll be upgrading to the 335/30ZR18s when I roll my fenders and get some 3/8ths spacers.

If you have any type of exhaust setup on the car you won't hear them at all.

I'm leaning towards the KDW II....

I did hear about the noise issues, but that should not be a problem on a mustang.
