Sexystang94,

The wife has an 01 GT Auto....We had 4.10's installed and its great!!!

The low end is how it should be!!!!!

13.7 @ 97 2.0x 60'. Just K&N, Gears and JDM Chip....

BTW, I did compensate via the JDM Superchip vs speedcalc or other gearing.

Go drive one with 4.10's, its worth it!!!!

With an automatic I would go with 4.10's. And if you ever decide to swap the torque convertor i'd go with a 2800 - 3000 stall for it.. You'll notice a HUGE difference in the auto with that.

I'm saying 4.10's cuz I used to play around with an '89 GT AOD that I had put 3.73's in and after whished I went with the 4.10's. Now that was the AOD as opposed the the 'E' that you have... but I don't know if there's a huge difference (if any) in transmission gear ratios between the two or not.

If you're gonna go with a 3-series gear... do the 3.90's!
I think only one manufacturer makes them right now and I can't think of who it is... might have it on file somewhere here.....
