Check the tire manufacturers website and I bet they recommend a 10" wheel as a minimum. Sure it will fit, but whether you want to go against their recommendation is up to you. I'd have the rim widened.

Yes, they will fit with no issues. You don't need a 10" rim. Several members have gone with that exact size on the SVTPP wheels. I'm going the same route soon.

Been running the Nitto 555R's on my rims for about 6 months now without any issues.

Do a search, many peop;le are running that size tire.
I even have an extra set for later use.

I have had Mickey Thompson ET street II radials, 305-35-20, for over a year with zero rubbing or any other issues. They hook fairly well if you heat them up thoroughly. I have hit some pretty high speeds and I'm still alive, so I don't think the tire is coming off the rim any time soon. Needed to adjust speedometer slightly in the tune, however.

I was wondering same thing with the 305's. Thanks guys, got my answer for a future upgrade. What I REALLY want are the Vossen CV3 wheels. $2500 just for the rims alone is a bit steep for me at the moment. Grrrr

Do you guys run the 555r up front as well? Or is it recommended to only use drag radials on the rear?

i wouldnt recommend a DR on the front. I have Michelin pilot sport PS2's on the front and love them. They are quiet and corner great

I just had the 305 35 Nittos installed 2 weeks ago. The traction difference is amazing. Today coming back from Carlisle, I hit it pretty hard in 2nd gear and it spun just a little and took off like a rocket. I'm really amazed a drag radial can make that much of a difference.

I just threw a set of 305's in a Nitto 555R on my 20" out back...cut half a second off my 1/4. They fit great, look awesome, and actually have a better ride/feel over stock GY's

100% recommend
