315 Drag Radials too small for 11 inch rim??

A few weeks ago I received my new CCW 18x11 inch wheels and got them mounted. They look amazing however it’s been bothering me that the rim sticks out tad as if my 315 tire isn’t wide enough. I’m running a 315/30/18 Mickey ET Street II drag radials and it looks like this on both sides. When I look at the specs of my tire, it shows that it’s 12.7 inches wide so something doesn’t seem right. Did CCW make me 13 inch wide rims by accident? Could the tires be mounted incorrectly?

Pictures would help. I'm running a r888 305/35/18 on my tf 18x11's and it looks good.

im with brady, i run a 305 35 r888 on my 18x11 wheels and the fit perfect. your sidewall looks straight but it doesnt look like the tire has a rim protector. they dont look stretched by any means. i just think thats the way the tire is made. maybe someone else with the same tires will chime in

That's just the way the mickey's fit the wheel. My 315-35-17 ET 2's fit my 10.5 wheel the same way.

I'm glad I'm not the only one bothered by this. :cuss: It's the same look with 315's on my 10.5" wide cobra replicas.
