I have searched alot of pages and found a few of you guys running 315 bfgs and 315 GSD3 on stock 03 cobra wheels. However most of the post are old so the pictures are no longer available. So i was whondering if any of you guys had any pictures of 315's on stock wheels from the back with the camera at exhaust tip level. I have found plenty of the 335 35 17 photos and they look dam good, and I know what the 315 35 nittos look like on stock wheels. And my other question is what air pressure do you run in the 315's. I am still debating on 17x10.5. But if I go 17x10.5 then I will probably go with 335 35 17. I just did not want to half to run spacers. Thanks for your help. If you do have some pics of 335 35 17 from the same angle please post those as well.

I HIGHLY recommend not putting them on the stock wheel. I have a set of 315 Nitto's on the stock rim (They are significantly narrower than the GSD3's) and they are definately too wide for a 9" rim. They fit and look ok, BUT you don't get better traction than a 275, and when you corner hard, the car feels like it's wobbling/unstable from the wheel riding the side wall.

Thanks for the info. I have never used a set of 315's so I dont really know anything about them from a ride and handling aspect. I beleive I will just go ahead and get a set of 17x10.5 afs 03 cobra wheels and run a 335 or 315. What mods will I need to do to run either setup? And what would be a good tire for the street? I want to keep my et streets on my two stock wheels for fun time.

to be honest i have never had a problem... i do hear alot of ppl say that though... it may be because my car had them on it when i bought it that i dont actually notice any "bad" handling. I am planning on upgrading to a 10.5 in rim just for looks because i hate the buldge on the tire, but again... it hasnt caused me any issues when driving either on the street or the drag strip.

as for what tire to use for the street... i LOVE my ds3's... they have GREAT handling in rain, and fairly good traction before i put in the gears... i plan to upgrade to some et streets for racing, but i will never use any other street tire then a ds3... its all in if your budget can handle them at 330 a piece for the 315s

Anybody running a sumitumo 315 htr? How do you like them? And how is the traction as far as dry weather and rain. I dont try to get out in the rain but I have unfortunately got stuck in it before and I am just checking incase of that happening again.

I have the 285 GS-D3's and I wouldn't push it any further.
