3rd break light question

Probably a dumb question, but from some pictures ive seen, it appears that the 3rd break light is a one-piece assembly, right?

Mine is cracked through, about 1.5" from the left side. I assumed it would be a simple lens replacement, but it appears I have to replace the whole light assembly.

Am I missing something?

It's a one piece replacement. Someone has been selling them in the classifieds for years now

One piece. Take out the 2 screws and unplug.

Yes, thanks. I found that post a short time after I posted my question. I would love to have OEM, but may have to go with aftermarket due to price. Other priorities (tires) at the moment.

ahhh yes the notorious 3rd brake light. I have my spare in the box in my attic
