4.10 - Searched and didnt find what I was looking for

So I searched and really couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have 4.10s in my car right now and haven't run it at the track yet...

I am getting the rear gears replaced and was thinking of sticking with the 4.10s but I am worried about running out of gear at the track in the 1/4.

Do you think I will be ok finishing in 4th or should I drop down to a 3.73?

The car is vortech blown at 8/9 lbs with long tubes and will always be run on these saleen wheels and bfg tires, perhaps a drag radial but NEVER without the saleens.

non sense, your 4.10's should be perfectly fine.

Thats what I wanted to hear. My gear now sounds like a little girl begging for a toy when accelerating and driving and clatters when I let off the gas.

I have 4:56's at the end of forth its around 125-135 around 6800-7000 RPM

i am blown with 4.10's as well and want more gear. i might jump to 4.56 with a t 56 swap but you will be happy at the track with 4.10 and boost:beer:

What was backlash set at?

I have no idea what the backlash was set at, I bought the car this way. I'm glad to hear that I'll be fine at the track, I really didn't want to step down a gear!
