4.6 2v 4v head swap.

So this is what I got. I have a 99 ford ranger and I am doing a 4.6 2v ROMEO swap. I got my motor out of a 2011 crown Vic. Do 4v heads fit on a 2v. If so are the front covers interchangeable as well?

I already have forged internals that up the compression so I am not worried about low compression. the pistons i have are DSS RACING SX SERIES PISTONS 10CC DISH 4.6 OR 5.4 2V and 4V ENGINES

They do fit but dont waste your time. If you want to 4v swap it grab a junkyard aviator engine. The large dish piston in the 2v matted with the large chamber of the 4v heads will give you absolutely no usable compression.

Yes it can be done. The heads are interchangeable.
