4 cyc. tranny question

I have a question I have a 302 carbed and was wondering if I can bolt the 4 cyc. tranny up to it. Until I have the money for a C4. I've heard you can bolt it up to a 302 that isn't carbed. So I was just wondering.

4cyl tranny will bolt up. It will make your car feel like it's got a gear (a bigger gear if you already have one). They have lower gears in the tranny, which will make it seem like lower gears in your rearend. They are weak as hell with any power behind them.

Just don't get on it at all. One of my friends kept putting 4 banger trannys in his car. They lasted about a month each, but he always got on it.
