5 beeps from dash

i got a beep that wont stop just goes on and on. it does a string of 5 than pauses for a bit and starts back up. what i read its something to do with the airbags any help or info on it would help me out thanks

Airbag. Does the light work? To get it to go away you need to short the plug in the glovebox for several seconds. Make sure you Look up the procedure so you dont get yourself killed!

Thank you for the help guys do you no where I can get the info to do this I searched and came up with nothing oh and the lights never been on I'll to check and c if it lights up when I start it

You know I have the same thing with my 91gt I have no idea what it is I've looked and no luck let me know if you figure it out

My 96 gt recently started this. Still does, hopefully knowing where to look I can get it to stop.

My airbag light on my dash had burnt out one day and it started doing that. Try replacing the little light bulb in your instrument cluster.
