'90 turbo sho. $6k!!
Now for sale is my boosted '90. I'm selling to get the ball rolling on a new project and to free up some space.
Ok, here we go...
1990 White/mix tan. ~100k on body. ZERO RUST.
Engine
-3.2L Block. Honed, decked, mag'd, hot tanked and enameled(red)
-3.2 Rods(matched set). Resized with new bushings.
-Polished crank.
-Wiseco flat top forged pistons(9.5:1)
-Balanced rotating assembly
-New bearings, freeze plugs, seals and rings.
-3.0 Cylinder heads/cams. Resurfaced, valves lapped and adjusted,
port-matched, new valve stem seals.
-3.0 intake. Cleaned, Powder coated, port-matched, enlarged butterfly bores,
modified couplers, new gaskets, polished throttle body/supports.
-Valve covers powder coated, new gaskets.
-New belts, hoses, all other parts cleaned/refurbished.
-Solid motor mounts.
Transmission
-Gen 1 MTX. Completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected and all worn
syncros/blocking rings replaced. New axle seals.
-Welded Diff pins.
-Newer OE axles(~15k).
-Clutchmasters stage 3 HD pressure plate/kevlar slotted disc(~5k).
-Shorted cable shifter with '99 Cobra shift knob.
-Custom engineered main shaft reinforcement bracket/snubber -adjustable.
Turbocharger/Intercooler
-Garrett turbo .70 cold/.82 hot T3/T4. Dimensional equivalent of GT35R
-Internal wastegate -adjustable.
-Cleaned, polished. No leaks or noises. Oil cooled.
-All custom built hot pipes, up/down pipe and 2.75" stainless, mandrel bent
free flow exhaust.
-Electric exhaust cutout -switch operated.
-Heat wrapped(carbon black).
-2.5" in/out FMIC with 2.5" piping and t-bolt clamps, multi-ply silicone.
-Greddy RS BOV.
-Hallman manual boost controller.
Fuel System/Electronics
-All custom fuel system with stock tank.
-Walbro 255lph pump.
- -8 stainless braided supply/ -6 return.
-SHONUT High Flow Fuel log with pressure gauge and filter(polished)
-Mallory EFI boost reference regulator(1:1).
-Extended -6 rail supply lines with swivel AN fittings(rails dead-headed).
-Modified and polished fuel rails.
-FRPP 42# injectors.
-Coolingmist Methanol/Water injection system with pressure switch/led
flow detection(failsafe).
-Pump mounted in RH fender. Utilizes washer reservoir.
-X2J tuned with SCT 4 bank eliminator chip.

General
This car runs and drives great. The interior is in good overall condition yet has some minor flaws expected from a 20 year old SHO. The paint is not the greatest and there are minor dings, scratches and so on. If you are not mechanically inclined and SHO educated, this car is not for you. If you are expecting a Lexus ride, Prius MPG and Honda reliability, this car is not for you. It's a 500hp SHO done right and it's completely absurd. It is however very drivable and in great condition for what it is.
